Balancing work and family life is an on going struggle especially for the many families who cannot afford to take unpaid leave.
This briefing note, published jointly with the National Women's Council of Ireland and the Irish Congress of Trade Unions, gives an overview of Family Leave in Ireland and shows just how far we are lagging behind other European countries on maternity leave, paternity leave and parental leave.
