Ciairín de Buis, Director
Ciairín
has been Director of Start Strong since March 2009. She is responsible
for implementing the vision of the Start Strong Board of Directors,
leading the strategic direction of the organisation and the overall
management of Start Strong. Her background is in the community and
voluntary sector, with a particular focus on advocacy. She has a strong
commitment to social justice and equality issues.
Toby Wolfe, Policy and Research Officer
Toby is responsible for the analysis of research and the preparation of policy papers for Start Strong. His background is in economics and social policy analysis. He has worked in Ireland, Germany and the UK.
Lorraine Whitty, Administrator
Lorraine is responsible for the administration and smooth running of all aspects Start Strong. She has a strong background in administration in both the public sector and the charity sector in Scotland and Ireland. As well as working with Start Strong, she volunteers for a number of organisations in the community and voluntary sector.
