Start Strong analysis of Budget 2012

Start Strong was relieved to see the Government’s commitment to maintaining the Free Pre-School Year as universal and free, demonstrated in Budget 2012. Continued funding for the scheme is especially welcome in the context of a Budget that involved widespread cuts. Many of those cuts, however, will have a negative impact on young children and their families.
